The rain can fall but it’s not going to stop Mark Kavanagh’s Caulfield Cup favourite December Draw $3.20 from a shot at the group 1 Turnbull stakes at 
Flemington on Sunday.
This five year old European import is unbeaten at Flemington out of three starts since debuting for Kavanagh back in May and will have thirteen rivals to contend with on Sunday if he is to keep up the good work.
Zipping won for Robert Hickmott twelve months ago and this year has a trio of chances with Efficient $31.00, Linton $13.00 and probably his strongest chance, At First Sight $6.50 who had a taste of December Draw when finishing runner up to him in the Naturalism Stakes.
Others of interest include the in form Rekindled Interest $7.50 who won the Group 2 Dato Tan Chin Nam Stakes last up but has yet to master Flemington, Glass Harmonium $8.00 who is sailing along quite nicely, he’s had one taste of Flemington when he took runner up in the Group 2 Makybe Diva Stakes first up and the mare Southern Speed $7.00 who arrives on the back of runner up slot in the Underwood Stakes at Caulfield on September 17th.
