There’s a battle going on for top of the betting shop for the group 2 Tea rose Stakes at Rosehill on Saturday with Streama, Pane In The Glass 
and Anise all available at $4.80.
Guy Walter’s Streama is well fancied to back up her recent victory in the group 2 Furious Stakes, Pane In The Glass is a class act having fallen just short of the mark at top level as a juvenile and has resumed in fine style taking the group 3 Silver Shadow Stakes and fourth place in the Furious Stakes.
However out of the trio it’s Anise who does it for me. This filly looked a cracker first up in the group 3 San Domenico Stakes here last month where she suffered no disgrace to take runner up place behind the mighty Foxwedge. She arrives after a slightly disappointing fifth in the Furious Stakes but everyone deserves a second chance and I am willing to give her that on Saturday.
The Tea Rose trio are joined by David Payne’s Florentina a $7.00 chance, Gai Waterhouse’s Shared Reflections who’s available at $5.50 and John O’Shea’s Elite Falls who at $9.00 will need to find some sparkle after two recent lack luster runs.
The rest of the field are all priced in double figures.
