Moonee Valley presents a very good card on Friday and the group 1 weight-for-age Manikato Stakes overĀ 1,200 metres is the
headlining act.
This year, Peter Snowden’s Sepoy looks set to make his Moonee Valley debut and take on his older rivals for the first time. He arrives as winner of seven of his eight starts but he is going to have to be bang on in what looks a very hot event.
Other nominations include More Joyous who deserves respect as she goes first up, the McEwen Stakes winner Buffering and the How Now Stakes winner Sister Madly who add spice to this exciting and competitive race.
