The disagreements continue to roll after He’s Remarkable was stripped of the win in the Group I Railway Stakes (1600m) at Ascot but it’s
all eyes to eventual winner Luckygray on Saturday as he bids for the Kingston Town Classic.
He stands at $3.00 with IASbet to get the new distance and his second at top level with punters keen on his chances to get the job done and dusted.
He is joined by Ranger who went off as favourite in the Railway Stakes but sauntered home in sixth place, he is expected to produce a much better performance over the 1800 at the weekend. He has a quote of $3.70 from IASbet while King Saul stands third in the betting at $5.50 after a nice win in the WA Guineas on November 19th.
The only other to go off in the single figures is the Redoute’s Choice mare, Tranquility at $9.00 who arrives after taking fifth in the Railway Stakes. She usually delivers a good run for your money and has been in cracking form all season and although Luckgray is the one to beat I consider her to be a juicy bet to be somewhere in the mix.
